国土防衛に携わる軍事組織・日本国防衛局において、陸上総隊第一ヒーロー大隊を大隊長として率いている武官。
階級は一等陸佐で、フルネームは軍畑（いくさばた）サダヨシ。
見た目は宇宙人だが、名門・軍畑家に養子として迎え入れられた日本人。
国民に仕える軍人たるべく厳しい教育を受けてきた為、誰に対しても慇懃に接し、任された任務は忠実にこなす。
戦闘能力も非常に高い。
Serving as a colonel in the Japanese Defense Bureau, Sadayoshi leads the army's First Hero Battalion.
His full name is Sadayoshi Ikusabata, and though he has the appearance of a Cosman, he is a naturalized Japanese citizen adopted by the prestigious Ikusabata family.
Strictly trained as a soldier to serve the public, he treats everyone with the utmost etiquette while possessing considerable combat capabilities.
He sees every mission through to completion with loyalty and efficiency.
However, because he has lived his life entirely on the tracks laid out for him, he has difficulty getting along with those who have strayed, whether by choice or by circumstance.
