A young squire belonging to the small, off-world kingdom of Aracidia, to which he pledges his allegiance, Rutilix's zeal and rigorousness are laudable to a fault,
but his quick temper and painful lack of swordsmanship leave much to be desired.
As the youngest son of an underprivileged household, he is often looked down on in his calvary unit, and he finds himself in the unenviable position of lacking any real achievements of his own. Still, his unyielding will and unrelenting training to become a knight have won him King Alphecca's endearment.
Coincidentally, he is constantly squabbling with Akashi on account of their similar temperaments.
Accepting an invitation from King Alphecca, they set out on a journey to the labyrinth rumored to be nearly impossible to escape.
