Barrel is a Cosman raised in Houston, Texas, U.S., who works as a local patrol officer in Orient City.
Honest, genuine, and with much love for the people, he seems like a model police officer at first glance. However, he simply cannot let go of his love for the sheriff stereotype seen in Westerns, which leaves him with a trigger-happy, loose-cannon side.
He pulls out his tranquilizer-loaded pistol at the slightest provocation, but a first-time amateur could shoot better, as he cannot hit his targets, much less innocent passersby on accident, no matter how many shots he fires.
However, upon transforming into a hero, he completely changes. Wielding dual pistols that fire blasts of his own energy, he demonstrates pinpoint accuracy, hitting his mark every single time.
