Though employed as a university archaeologist on paper, Marfik is and always will be an adventurer.
A Terran from Indianapolis, U.S., this mischievous old man possesses superhuman vitality and tenacity. He has the analytical skills of a coolheaded scholar, brimming with curiosity much like a child.
So great is his thirst for adventure that people say if he catches wind of some strange ruins on a planet on the edge of the galaxy, he will be gone by the next day.
Marfik is in it for the love of the game, and he has no interest in whatever material wealth unearthing artifacts may bring.
