Flamier works as a chemistry teacher in one of the most prestigious high schools in the Lunar Cities.
A Lunarian, she was born the daughter of the family which lays sole claim to all asteroid belt mining.
Though her brains and beauty have won her many admirers in school and from society at large, her bizarre attachment to everything that burns bright and beautiful has led her to acquire an unusual amount of knowledge concerning gunpowder, explosives, and other flammables.
Still, she dreams of one day making fireworks that bloom with beauty yet unseen.
During a job unexpectedly taken on Earth, they come to learn of a "grudge" incurred by someone with whom they share a deep connection.
